When a user completes a contact form, the Website may collect the following information, depending on the fields provided and the information voluntarily submitted:
first and last name;
email address;
telephone number;
subject of the request;
content of the message;
any documents submitted;
date and time of submission;
technical information required for the security and proper operation of the form, such as the IP address, browser type or technical logs.
Users are asked not to submit sensitive data or confidential information that is not necessary for the handling of their request.
4. Purposes and Legal Bases of Contact Form Processing
Data submitted through the forms is used to:
receive, review and process the user’s request;
respond to a request for information, contact, correction, right of reply or content report;
follow up on communications;
prevent fraudulent submissions, spam and security threats to the Website;
establish, exercise or defend the publisher’s legal rights where necessary.
Depending on the nature of the request, this processing is based on the publisher’s legitimate interest in responding to users and protecting the Website, on steps taken at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract, or on compliance with a legal obligation.
Data submitted through the forms is not used to send commercial communications without an appropriate legal basis.
5. Required Information
Fields marked as mandatory are required to allow the publisher to process the request. If this information is not provided, the request may not be submitted or answered.
Other information is optional and is provided freely by the user.
6. Retention of Contact Requests
Data received through the forms is retained for the time required to process the request and follow up on communications, and then for a maximum period of three years from the most recent contact.
It may be retained for a longer period where required by law or where necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. In such cases, it is retained only for as long as strictly necessary for that purpose.
Technical logs used to protect the Website are retained for a limited period proportionate to the security risks involved.
7. Audience Measurement Using Google Analytics
The Website uses Google Analytics 4, an audience measurement service provided by Google, to better understand Website traffic and improve its content and operation.
Subject to the user’s consent, Google Analytics may collect or generate the following information:
an online identifier associated with the browser or device;
pages viewed and browsing events;
the approximate date, time and duration of visits;
device type, operating system and browser;
traffic source and interactions with the Website;
approximate geographical information;
technical data required to produce aggregated statistics.
MAXImini.com does not use Google Analytics for the purpose of directly identifying visitors and does not intentionally provide Google with information submitted through contact forms that directly identifies an individual.
This processing is intended to produce traffic statistics, identify the content viewed, detect navigation difficulties and improve the Website’s performance and editorial relevance.
The processing is based on the user’s consent. Google Analytics must only be activated after the user has accepted audience measurement trackers through the cookie management banner.
Refusing or withdrawing consent does not prevent access to the Website’s content.
8. Audience Measurement Cookies
Google Analytics may place cookies or use similar technologies to distinguish visitors and their sessions.
Audience measurement trackers are placed only after obtaining the user’s consent. Their lifespan is limited to a maximum of thirteen months and must not be automatically extended by subsequent visits.
The user’s cookie preferences are retained for a limited period, with six months being the recommended period, before the user may be asked to make a new choice.
Users can accept, refuse or customise cookies through the banner displayed during their first visit. They must also be able to modify or withdraw their consent at any time through a permanent link, for example “Manage my cookies”, available on the Website.
Withdrawing consent must be as easy as giving it.
9. Google Analytics Data Retention
User-level and event-level data in Google Analytics is retained for a maximum period of fourteen months, in accordance with the retention setting selected for the Website’s Google Analytics property.
Certain aggregated statistics that no longer permit the identification of a user may be retained for a longer period to enable comparisons of traffic over time.
10. Recipients of Personal Data
Contact form data is accessible only to authorised members of Agence Presse Média Caraïbe GP who need it to handle requests.
Within the limits of their duties, the data may also be accessible to technical service providers responsible for the hosting, maintenance, security or operation of the Website.
Audience measurement data is processed by Google Ireland Limited and, where applicable, by authorised Google companies and processors involved in providing Google Analytics.
Personal data is neither sold nor rented to third parties.
It may be disclosed to administrative or judicial authorities where required by law.
11. Transfers Outside the European Economic Area
The use of Google Analytics may involve the processing of certain data from countries located outside the European Economic Area.
Where such transfers occur, they must be covered by a mechanism recognised under applicable data protection law, such as an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission or another appropriate safeguard.
Further information about Google’s privacy practices is available at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
12. Data Security
The publisher implements reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against destruction, loss, alteration, disclosure, unauthorised access or any other form of unlawful processing.
However, no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users should avoid submitting particularly sensitive information or information unrelated to their request through a form.

the right to access their personal data;
the right to have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected;
the right to request the erasure of their data;
the right to request restriction of processing;
the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests;

the right to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal;
the right to define instructions concerning the handling of their data after death, subject to the conditions established by French law.
14. Exercising Data Protection Rights
Requests relating to personal data may be submitted through the form available at:

Proof of identity may be requested only where there is reasonable doubt concerning the identity of the person making the request. Such proof must not be retained for longer than necessary to complete the verification.
The publisher will respond within the time limits established by applicable law.
15. Complaints to the CNIL
