The Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda announced a rise in fuel prices due to the impact of the conflict between the United States and Iran on global markets. After several months of subsidies, the government decided to increase the price of gasoline to EC$16.50 and that of diesel to EC$16.25. Despite this increase, prices will remain lower than those in other countries in the Caribbean region.
