The St John’s Development Corporation (SJDC) is set to take over the upland facility of Antigua's cruise port upon the expiration of Global Ports' lease. The president of the SJDC highlighted the significant benefits this project will bring to the residents of Antigua and Barbuda. The new facility, which includes various amenities, will be open to the public, thereby enhancing St John’s appeal to tourists.
