A man has been accused of rape against a 21-year-old woman in New Providence. The events allegedly took place after she asked him to take her shopping. After their purchases, he allegedly attempted to sexually assault her at his home, despite her refusal. The accused, who has not commented on the charges, has been placed in custody until a hearing scheduled for December.
