India's pharmaceutical exports recorded a 4.90% increase in the first half of the fiscal year 2026-27, reaching $16.14 billion. This growth is mainly attributed to strong demand in Europe, where shipments grew by 9.66%. Biologics and generic drugs performed particularly well.
