The hopes of the Bajan Gems qualifying for the 2027 Netball World Cup in Australia have been dashed. In their last match, the team suffered a nine-goal defeat against Trinidad and Tobago, unbeaten in the tournament. The Gems finish fourth with 12 points, while Trinidad and Tobago and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines qualify for Sydney. The United States, with 15 points, also do not advance.
