This week, Barbados will host the third CARICOM regional conference on reparations. Titled “Restorative Justice as a New Light,” it will take place at the Wyndham Grand Barbados Resort. This event follows a historic United Nations resolution that recognized slavery as a crime against humanity. The three-day conference aims to provide practical guidance for the implementation of the Ten-Point Plan for Restorative Justice.
