The police forces of Guyana recently discovered 72.1 pounds of cocaine during an operation on the Five Miles–Ituni trail. A suspicious vehicle was abandoned by its driver, who fled. Meanwhile, three people, including a businessman, were arrested in Bartica for possession of cannabis and cocaine. Investigations are ongoing with no further arrests at this time.
