The government of Barbados anticipates a decline of $115 million in corporate tax revenues due to the departure of 27 companies. A quarterly fiscal report revealed a 44% decrease in corporate income tax revenues during the first three months of the fiscal year 2026-2027. Despite this drop, total revenues have increased, thanks to a global minimum tax, allowing the government to maintain a budget surplus.
