Today, the Barbados Workers’ Union (BWU) celebrates its 85th anniversary. During a religious service at the Wesleyan Church in Ellerton, the General Secretary stated that, with divine help, the union will continue its fight. She emphasized that the sacrifices of past and present members have allowed the organization to endure and positively influence the lives of workers while building a legacy for future generations.
