During the third ordinary session of the legislature, the Nicaraguan Parliament ratified the appointment of two new judges to the Supreme Court. This decision was made following the resignation of a judge, accepted unanimously by the deputies. The new judges, Guido Ochoa and Fuertes Toledo, were officially presented and take office in accordance with the Constitution.
