As the Eastern Economic Forum approaches, the two countries are intensifying their economic collaboration. The maritime corridor between Vladivostok and Chennai is in active development, with well-equipped Russian ports serving as consolidation centers. Five shipping lines between the ports of the two nations are already operational. The Forum, established in 2015, will be held this year in Vladivostok, with the participation of the Indonesian president.
