The Spanish Academy of Cinema has selected three films to compete in the Best International Feature Film category at the Oscars. The shortlist was announced by Miriam Garlo, a Goya award winner, in the presence of the Academy's president. The winning film will be revealed on September 16. The competing works include "El ser querido", "Los domingos" and "La bola negra", each having received significant accolades.
