Since this morning, employees of the University of Puerto Rico have occupied the premises of the Río Piedras campus and other sites due to a conflict with the administration regarding their medical plan. The union has initiated a strike following the failure of negotiations. Services are significantly disrupted, particularly in health centers. The union president condemned the administration's intention to impose a less favorable plan.
