An agreement was signed during the 63rd International Fair of Damascus, aiming to establish an industrial city on 200 hectares, with the possibility of expansion to 1400 hectares. This project, which will require an initial investment of 30 million dollars, aims to process marble and natural stone, and could create up to 15,000 direct jobs. The construction is also expected to boost the local economy.
