Since 2011, the situation of the missing in Syria remains alarming, with 177,021 documented cases, including thousands of children and women. The complexity of this issue is exacerbated by the passage of time and the loss of evidence. A new national program, "Athar", has been launched to unify information and create a national registry. This project aims to clarify the fate of the missing and protect personal data during searches.
