A new agreement has been signed for the development of the Grand Paris Express, an automatic metro project that is expected to transform mobility in the Paris region by 2031. This project includes five new lines and 68 stations over approximately 200 kilometers. Line 15, which runs around Paris, is particularly anticipated, with a service planned for 600,000 passengers per day. The total budget has been revised to €36.1 billion.
