The Vietnam Food Federation reported that the country has already exported more than five million tons of rice by mid-August. Forecasts indicate that sales will exceed seven million tons, despite a four percent decline in revenue compared to the previous year. The growing demand from countries like the Philippines and China could support these exports, while challenges related to input costs and weather conditions remain.
