Grenada has ramped up its efforts to prevent and detect African swine fever through a training exercise on sample collection and surveillance. This program, supported by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, brought together veterinarians and representatives from various authorities to enhance their skills in animal safety and sample management. The initiative aims to strengthen the response capacity against this viral disease, essential for protecting the pig industry and local livelihoods.
