Bioanalysts protested in front of the José María Cabral and Báez Regional University Hospital in Santiago, demanding appointments and reclassification for professionals who have been in position for several years without adequate recognition. The president of the bioanalysts' college denounced the arrival of new recruits while experienced workers remain under precarious contracts. The protesters are also calling for improvements in working conditions and pensions.
