Lenín Jhericop Núñez de León was arrested at Las Américas International Airport after being identified as the suspect in the death of Enmanuel Contreras Medina. The latter was assaulted with a stick during a transaction for a phone. The incident dates back to July 1, when Contreras was attacked after transferring money for an iPhone. He died on September 8 from his injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
