The Ministry of Foreign Relations is closely monitoring the cases of Dominicans who traveled to Russia for job offers but find themselves caught up in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. Twenty citizens have been identified by their families, and steps are being taken. The Dominican government has expressed its concerns to Russia and maintains assistance channels for those in need, as well as for their relatives in the Dominican Republic.
