Lawyers and defendants in the corruption case led by former Finance Minister Donald Guerrero have requested the cessation of prosecutions, arguing that the legal four-year period has expired. This request was submitted to the Tercer Tribunal Colegiado. Guerrero's defense also challenged the previous rejection of this request. The court is set to rule on this matter on August 14.
