The Superior Administrative Court has annulled the concession of Falconbridge Dominicana due to serious breaches by the company during the exploitation of resources from Quisqueya I, suspended since November 2023. This decision, made on behalf of the Dominican State, highlights the economic impact of this paralysis on the Monseñor Nouel region, where more than 900 jobs have been lost. The restructuring of Falcondo continues independently of this annulment.
