A man lost his life in Mao after his motorcycle was hit by a fleeing yipeta, trying to escape a military patrol. The accident occurred during a migration control, when the driver of the yipeta lost control and crashed into the motorcycle. After the collision, he abandoned his vehicle and fled. Thirteen Haitian migrants were discovered inside the vehicle, and authorities are searching for the driver.
