A woman of Haitian origin survived a knife attack, apparently carried out by her former partner, in the La Noriega area of Santiago. Although injured, she was taken to the hospital for treatment. The suspect then turned himself in to the police. The circumstances of the incident and the motive remain unclear, while an investigation is underway to establish the facts and the legal situation of the attacker.
