Authorities announce a significant expansion of the Acueducto Cibao Central, aimed at ensuring the supply of drinking water for Santiago and Moca over the next fifty years. This project, with an estimated cost of 11.6 billion pesos, includes the creation of an independent system for Moca, thus reducing losses and current dependence. Infrastructure will be modernized, and pumping solutions will be implemented to ensure supply even during drought periods.
