The director of the National Institute of Transit and Land Transport revealed that the vehicle technical inspection, called "the review", will be implemented during the first half of 2027. The institution is collaborating with the General Directorate of Procurement to establish an effective mechanism. Work is underway to certify the workshops and technicians responsible for the inspections, in accordance with current legislation.
