The General Directorate of Migration conducted a large-scale inspection in Greater Santo Domingo, checking 12 restaurants, mainly "pica pollos". During this operation, 38 Haitians in an irregular situation were arrested. Authorities checked the documents of employees in several establishments, highlighting the importance of complying with immigration law in the food sector.
