The Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Mipymes carried out 815 seizures of goods related to illegal trade in 2026, totaling more than 1.16 billion pesos. Among these seizures, pharmaceutical products and tobacco are at the forefront. Operations are mainly concentrated in the National District and border areas, with arrests related to smuggling and various offenses.
