For the past two days, residents of Río Chill in Barahona have been protesting to request the rehabilitation of their roads, particularly the one leading to a school. The residents attribute their degradation to the installation work of pipes for a drinking water project, left unrepaired. Conditions have worsened with the rains, making travel difficult and dangerous, especially for students and teachers.
