The National Police intercepted several weapons and equipment during an attempted robbery at a remittance agency in Azua. The suspects tried to access the funds but failed. A security officer was disarmed. Pursuits were initiated, resulting in exchanges of gunfire. Several assailants were injured, and two died. One suspect remains at large. The seized evidence will be used in the ongoing investigation.
