The first tests of the Santiago Monorail will begin in October, marking a key milestone in the launch of the system. The project director announced that the gradual commissioning should start before the end of the year, including guided tours. The main structure will be completed this month, and the trains will be able to reach speeds of 60 to 80 km/h, thus facilitating travel within the city.
