A court has sentenced a man to 30 years in prison for killing his cousin with the intent to rob him of his belongings. The events took place in 2022 in Santo Domingo Norte. The accused was found guilty of voluntary manslaughter after inflicting multiple stab wounds on the victim. In addition to the prison sentence, he will have to pay compensation to the victim's relatives.
