The Attorney General of the Republic, Yeni Berenice Reynoso, recently denied the idea that medical offenses could lead to cumulative sentences of 60 years. She specified that only serious offenses, outside the medical framework, could justify such sanctions. During a seminar, she also discussed the concepts of negligence and recklessness in the health field, emphasizing the importance of evaluating each case individually.
