The Assize Court of Basse-Terre is examining six criminal cases, including a murder, a homicide, two fatal robberies, and two aggravated rapes, involving fourteen defendants. None of them has previously appeared before this court. Among the defendants, several are minors, which leads them to be tried by the juvenile assize court. The hearings continue until October 7.
