Between September 3 and 11, the criminal court of Basse-Terre will examine five rape cases. Among the victims, two were minors at the time of the events. The defendants, aged 22 to 59, are mostly on judicial supervision. Three cases present aggravating circumstances. One of the alleged victims has not yet filed a civil suit. The judges' decisions are expected soon.
