A 55-year-old man was sentenced to one year in prison, including six months under electronic monitoring, after hitting a police officer during a chase in Pointe-à-Pitre. The defendant, who was driving without a license, also collided with a BAC vehicle. During his arrest, drugs and a knife were found. His vehicle was confiscated by the court.
