The novel Cécé, translated by Aidan Rooney and based on Les Villages de Dieu by Emmelie Prophète, has received the Massachusetts Book Award in the category of 'translated literature'. This award, presented by the Massachusetts Center for the Book, celebrates significant works by residents of the state. The awards ceremony will take place on October 28 at the Massachusetts State House.
