Judette Jusmé, a former laboratory technician, saw her life radically changed by the January 2010 earthquake. The eldest of five siblings, she lost family members as well as her hand and leg. Since then, she has been striving to regain her independence and relearn daily tasks, demonstrating impressive strength of character in the face of adversity.
