Canada has reaffirmed its support for maritime security in the Caribbean by collaborating with regional partners. During a conference at the Jamaican Defence Force's Military Academy, the Canadian High Commissioner emphasized the importance of the Event Horizon 2027 exercise, scheduled for January 2027. This exercise aims to enhance coordination and preparedness against maritime threats while strengthening the capacities of participating countries for an effective collective response.
