The Jamaica Road Traffic Authority reported 111 deaths due to fatal accidents during the third quarter. Although the number of accidents remained steady at 91, fatalities increased by 4% compared to the previous year. Motorcyclists represent a significant share of the victims, with 30 deaths. Private vehicle drivers and pedestrians are also among the main affected categories.
