The president of the Jamaica Teachers' Association has proposed adopting rules similar to those in Finland to limit mobile device use by young children during school hours. During a meeting in Mandeville, she highlighted the harmful effects of excessive screen time on children's development and advocated for a national campaign aimed at reintroducing reading and regulating technology use.
