The Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries has signed a memorandum of understanding with the University of the West Indies, Mona campus, aimed at strengthening research and training in the agricultural field. This agreement, signed in Kingston, combines UWI's academic resources with the Ministry's expertise to improve agricultural productivity and disease management. The two institutions also hope to encourage more students to pursue agricultural studies.
