On August 31, Trinidad and Tobago will celebrate its 64th independence anniversary. On this occasion, the High Commissioner to Jamaica, Deborah Thomas-Felix, is organizing a celebration on August 30 at the University of the Caribbean. This event will bring together members of the diaspora, students, and diplomats around Trinidadian cuisine and entertainment. Thomas-Felix, who has been in office since October, aims to create a friendly moment ahead of the 65th anniversary next year.
