On the night of October 23 to 24, an operation conducted by the gendarmerie led to the seizure of nearly 830 smuggled cigarette cartons in Sainte-Luce. Alerted by a surveillance system, the officers intercepted a suspicious vessel. Despite some individuals fleeing, one man was arrested. The value of the seized goods is estimated at around 100,000 euros.
