Since August 2023, Orissa Lorne has launched a WhatsApp carpooling group exclusively for women, in response to a public transport crisis. The group quickly attracted nearly 2,000 members, providing a safe space to share rides. Participants contribute to costs on a non-profit basis, promoting mutual assistance. Orissa Lorne manages this project on a voluntary basis, addressing a growing need for women's mobility.
