The Heritage Foundation has unveiled the selected sites for the Heritage Lottery 2026, including iconic locations in Guadeloupe, Martinique, Guyana, and Réunion. In Guadeloupe, the Silène plantation in Pointe-Noire, which is at risk, will be restored by 2029. Martinique sees the Notre-Dame du Rosaire church in Fort-de-France chosen for urgent work, while the Fifine house in Guyana and the villa des Lierres in Réunion will also benefit from restorations.
