The UNII association, which advocates for the rights of the LGBTQIA+ community, recently celebrated its five-year anniversary at an event in Saint-Pierre. Éléa Guillon, its president, highlighted the progress made in terms of visibility and inclusion, particularly through sports initiatives. Despite ongoing reluctance, the association continues to work for open dialogue and better acceptance of differences within the archipelago.
