The Prime Minister revealed a financial support plan for New Caledonia, including between 400 and 460 million euros mainly in the form of grants. This announcement follows discussions with a bipartisan mission, which is seeking aid for the years 2026 and 2027. Sébastien Lecornu also mentioned the need to identify institutional blockages to promote the economic development of the archipelago.
